Aircraft on Ground (AOG)
"Aircraft on Ground" (AOG) is exactly what the term suggests, the term in aviation referring to a problem with an aircraft serious enough to prevent it from flying.
It becomes a priority by the airline to acquire the parts to put the aircraft (A/C) back into service, and prevent further delays or cancellations of the planned itinerary. The airlines will call upon Pony Express OBC to rush parts from holding warehouses, manufacturers, parts suppliers and or other airports back to the grounded aircraft.
As per FAA/CAA regulations AOG parts can be loaned or borrowed from competitor airlines and Pony Express OBC can assist in retrieving such parts from any ‘AOG Help desk’ of any airline. We will work closely with the client to ensure that parts are collected and delivered quickly. The client will be kept informed of the progress every step of the way and will be given the mobile/cell number for the onboard courier handling the AOG parts.
